James Beard Foundation Fundraiser
February 7, 5:00 - close Price: $25 *Harvest will be donating 100% of all food sales to our staff so that they can make this trip.
Chef Derek Rowe has been nominated as one of the Top 20 Chef’s in the Midwest by the James Beard Foundation in the past two years. Chef Rowe will be creating a three-course menu, with three different choices at each course for $25 a person for these special fundraising dinners.

Harvest has been invited to host a dinner at the James Beard Foundation on April 6, 2010. For those who are not familiar, the James Beard Foundation is to the culinary world what the Grammy’s are to the music world, and the Oscar’s are to the film industry. Needless to say we are honored and thrilled to be asked to host a dinner for our second time at the James Beard Foundation in New York City.
Typically, the chef of the invited restaurant and her/his kitchen staff make the trip for this dinner. Like our first dinner, the entire Harvest staff will be making this trip.
A great expense is attached to this honor. Harvest pays for all expenses for our staff, travel, lodging, food, and cost of food and wine for the dinner. To off-set some of these expenses we will be hosting five JBF Fundraising Events before our trip. These will take place on Sunday’s February 7th and 28th, March 7th, 14th and 21st.
100% of all food sales go our staff so that they can make this trip.
